APSM
APSM - Administração dos Portos das Ilhas de São Miguel e Santa Maria, S.A., (Port Authority of San Miguel and Santa Maria, SA) is a public limited company responsible for the management of the portuary operations of Ponta Delgada and Vila do Porto’s ports. APSM is a company with a key position regarding the development of the island of Sao Miguel and the Azores Islands, where the market and industry demand (growth of port traffic, new investments like Portas do Mar, the port of Vila do Porto in Santa Maria, the anticipated growth in cruise tourism and the improvement of passengers transport conditions) have involved APSM in an effort of modernization, economic development and investment so that it can embrace the emerging business opportunities and ensure its own sustainability.
APM
APM –The Association of Portas do Mar is constituted by the Regional Secretary of Economy, the Port Authority of Santa Maria and São Miguel islands and by the Chamber of commerce and Industry of Ponta Delgada.
GPM
The GPM - Management of the Portas do Mar, Management of Portas do Mar, was created from the collaborative effort of Norma Azores and Tecnovia-Parques, based on elements of the tender process for the provision of Public Services regarding the Management of "Portas do Mar", which was promoted by the APSM- Administração dos Portos de São Miguel e Santa Maria, SA (Port Authority of São Miguel and Santa Maria, SA-).
